The Sony DSR-45A recorder enhances the capabilities of the previous DSR-45 by offering a larger 2.5” (viewable area, measured diagonally) color LCD video monitor. All other features and specifications remain the same as the previous DSR-45A. This front-loading VTR accepts both standard and mini size cassettes, and its half-rack design allows the DSR-45A to be easily integrated into existing linear and non-linear editing systems. The DSR-45A is also an ideal VTR for those looking to move from analog based formats to a professional grade digital format with a simple yet robust migration path.
